The Cider Junction

A place to explore food and cider

We invite you to enjoy Silicon Valley's first Cider Bistro - a place where American and European style small plates are paired with craft ciders from around the world (and craft beers too!).

The Cider Junction brings together the ``old`` and the ``new``:
From old world style small plates like flatbreads with traditional European toppings to the ``new world`` staples like pulled pork sliders and artisanal cheese plates.
From craft ciders made in the traditional style (dry, aged, sometimes still, sometimes sparkling) to experimental ciders fermented or infused with hops, charcoal and mint. We offer ciders on tap and in bottles. Our friendly staff will help you find the perfect pairing of small plates and ciders.

Our ambience invokes Santa Clara Valley’s rich history of orchards  in a casual and friendly atmosphere.

What exactly is a craft cider?

Craft Cider has at its base either fresh pressed apples or 100% apple juice (i.e. the cider maker bought the juice, not the apples). The often small batches are then fermented, sometimes with the addition of fruit/puree/juices or herbs. Some bring them to market in a few weeks, others let them mature for months or even years.  Craft cider is considered a fruit wine. It is not brewed, i.e. there is no heat applied or water added.

We have 26 taps  and 30+ cans and bottles of ciders for on-site consumption., plus 6 taps of craft beer and a selective wine offering.
